About James Beloff

I run booths for a living. Small ones, mostly. The 10 by 10 kind where you unpack your own cases, tape your own cables, and find out at 7 a.m. that the venue charges forty dollars to rent a trash can.

Show Bulk is the notebook I wish someone had handed me before my first show. It is not a booth vendor’s blog. Nobody here is going to route you to a quote form. It is checklists, packing lists, bulk-buying math, and honest talk about what draws people to a booth and what just burns money.

Start with the pre-show checklist. It has run every booth I have worked, and it is free in exchange for your email. After that, pick the path that matches where you are: your first show, booth and gear, swag and bulk buying, or working the show itself.

If something here saves you a rush fee or a wasted pallet of pens, it did its job.
